Seoul is a very exciting city. It is modern, very clean, and overall appealing. The people that live there are very attractive and well put together. They all dress well and have amazing skin.
Skincare and weekly med spa visits are a normal part of life .Seoul has so many plastic surgery advertisements, beauty spas, med spas, and skincare shops that dominate the shopping areas and metro stations. Skincare and beauty spots is to them what coffee and fast food restaurants are to the U.S. Pretty important, right ?!
Shopping in Korea is amazing. Not only do you get to see all the buzzed about Korean Beauty brands; but the presentation and customer service is outstanding. Sales associates are happy and enthusiastic to help you. The packaging and displays are either elegant or adorable. And the stores love giving you tons of complimentary products with your purchase. This may seem unrelated but even their Forever 21 looks like a high-end boutique. Everything is steamed, attractively displayed, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Big difference if you ever seen an NYC Forever 21!
Korean beauty influence has grown in the U.S. I was surprised to see that most of the Korean Beauty cult faves are starting to open up shops where I live. In NYC we now have Tony Moly, Innisfree, Nature Republic, Skinfood, Holika Holika, and more!
I would really love to see these Korean Beauty shops become more dominate in all areas of U.S and I am excited to see how much the Korean influence continues to grow.
