The first early sign of skin aging can show up in our 20s or 30s, and it's something that we might overlook. Instead, we might assume that it's because we didn't drink enough water or get enough sleep. Yes, these things could be the case, or it could be more serious!

Use retinol once or twice a week starting in your 20s. Start slowly by only using it once a week. It can irritate your skin, so it's best to use a product with a lower concentration (0.1%/0.25%). Also, keep in mind that retinol makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. So use it before bed and wear sunscreen during the day.
