Use retinol once or twice a week starting in your 20s. Start slowly by only using it once a week. It can irritate your skin, so it's best to use a product with a lower concentration (0.1%/0.25%). Also, keep in mind that retinol makes your skin more sensitive to the sun. So use it before bed and wear sunscreen during the day.
